Damien Fair, Ph.D., PA-C, a professor and Redleaf Endowed Director of the Masonic Institute of the Developing Brain at the University of Minnesota, will give a virtual talk on “Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience in the Era of Big Data.’’ A 2020 MacArthur Fellow, Fair studies brain functioning during typical and atypical development — investigating how different parts of the brain communicate with each other and how this communication evolves at different stages of development, from infancy to adolescence. He explores ways to map individual brains to better understand and improve therapies for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autism.
